KOMBI’S AND BIKES

I had a dream to travel around New Zealand with professional mountain bikers, hitting up the best trails that Aoteroa had to offer. The was plan to shoot biking and lifestyle photos for editorial, stock and personal work. I wanted to be free, with no brief from a client, just us in nature exploring the wilderness that NZ has to offer.

Two trips in 3 years saw me take bikers to some of the most adventurous and little known mountain bike trails in the country. We had to travel in style, so I hired 1970’s VW Kombi’s for each trip and boy did they make it a wild and exciting ride!
